Thank you for the honour, says Mahesh

This award season certainly brings in a lot of cheer for Mahesh Babu, something he desperately needed after the dismal turn that Brahmotsavam faced! Mahesh Babu has won yet another award for his performance in Srimanthudu which people thought was certainly one of his best so far. He received the honour from SIIMA, and that would make it his third as he had earlier won for Dookudu and SVSC.

Mahesh couldn’t come to receive the award as he has been abroad on a long holiday with his wife and kids. But he did take to his Twitter profile to express his thanks, saying, “Received my “Best Actor” Trophy for Srimanthudu! Thank You @siima”. Mahesh is supposed to return to Hyderabad soon and start shooting for AR Murgadoss’ next Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual along with Parineeti Chopra. One hopes this movie wins him awards as well.
