Thangalaan Collections For The First Weekend

Vikram is popular in Telugu films too. Movies like “Siva Putrudu”, “Aparichitudu”, and “I”, where he played the main role, were successful in Telugu. Vikram always puts in his best effort, and he did the same for his new movie, “Thangalaan”, which was released on August 15th.

The movie received positive reviews from its first show and had a strong opening. It performed well during the long weekend, but its earnings dropped on the fifth day.

Let’s look at the collections for the first weekend:

The worldwide theatrical business of  Thangalan was Rs. 4 Crores. To break even, it needs to earn Rs. 4.25 crores. In its first week, the film earned Rs. 3.50 crores. It still needs Rs. 0.75 crores to break even. The film did well during the first 5 days of holidays, but since then, it hasn’t shown much growth.
