After the big success of Stree, Bhediya, Munjya and Stree 2, Maddock Films is expanding its horror-comedy universe with a new film titled Thama.
This time, Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are joining the franchise. The teaser of the film was released today.
It begins with Ayushmann’s voice asking Rashmika, “Will you be able to live without me for 100 years?” To this, she replies, “100 years? I cannot live without you for even a second”. The teaser then introduces the spooky world of Thama and finally reveals Nawazuddin as the villain.
Thama is described as a vampire comedy where Ayushmann plays a historian researching the roots of vampire folklore in India. The story unfolds across two timelines one set in the present and another in the past.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and the film is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik.
