Thalapathy 66 launched

It is widely known that Kollywood star Vijay is all set to join forces with Tollywood director Vamshi Padipally for a film. Tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, the film is being bankrolled by Dil Raju.

Meanwhile, this morning the formal pooja ceremony for this as-yet-untitled film happened in Chennai. Hero Vijay, heroine Rashmika, director Vamshi Padipally and Dil Raju graced the opening event.

Said to be a clean family entertainer, the film is expected to go on the floors from June. Thaman is the music composer for this crazy Tamil-Telugu bilingual project.
