Are TFI producers looking at Overseas friendly genres?

Sankranthi 2019 has been an eye-opener for several producers. Off-beat subjects, very old masala films don’t sell at the box office like before. Overseas markets have been able to give them the extra cushion to improve profits.

But this time except for F2, none clicked and NTR, VVR have been bigger losses than anticipated after the first day talk. Boyapati Srinu established himself as Overseas unfriendly director and he remains to be so.

Anil Ravipudi delivered a minimum guarantee film and the comedy is able to take it to the next level. In just 5 days, F2 movie achieved break-even and will make profits.

NTR couldn’t perform more than the first three days. Seems like even Krish and Balakrishna combo couldn’t excite them. Now, the producers seem to be giving importance to Overseas markets as well and we have to wait and see, if this new strategy will work big time or not?!
