It is well-known that the Telangana government has given permission to the hike in the ticket prices for SS Rajamouli’s pre-independence patriotic drama, RRR. As per the government GO, the ticket hike will continue for ten days in Telangana but there is no point mentioned in it that the prices will not be in existence after RRR for the upcoming biggies.
Regarding the same, a group of exhibitors met the Nizam distributor and reputed producer, say our sources. Reportedly, the exhibitors and distributors unit has decided to reduce the hiked ticket prices for upcoming biggies such as Acharya, Sarkaru Vaari Paata and F3 and planning to met the Telangana cinematography minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and give him a detailing.
As of now, the multiplexes in Telangana are charging more than Rs 400 and single screens pricing is close to Rs 200 per ticket. Have to wait and see how will the prices for forthcoming big-ticket films will be fixed in Telangana.
