Country representative of Costa Rica Ms. Sofia met Telugu Film Chamber Secretary Mr. Damodar Prasad and Producers Council Secretary Mr. Tummala Prasanna Kumar and eminent producers Mr. Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao and Mr. Ram Satyanarayana and explained the possibilities of shooting in Costa Rica and informed that all the permits will be given under single window system and tax concessions will be provided. Producers can get information from Telugu Film Chamber to get more details. Many producers participated and cleared their doubts with Sofia. On behalf of Telugu Film Chamber, Telugu Film Producers Council and prominent producers Mr. Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, Mr. Ram Satyanarayana, honored Mrs. Sophia. Manohar Reddy of Fuji Software and many producers participated in this program.
Sofia Salas is a Costa Rican lawyer with considerable experience in international cooperation. She holds a Law Degree from the University of Costa Rica and an Interdisciplinary Masters Degree in Human Rights from the University of Essex (UK). with international UN organizations on a wide range of issues including aid and protection programs aimed at supporting migrants in vulnerable situations and countries to accelerate progress worked locally and internationally for over 10 years towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Served as Minister Counselor and Consul General at the Embassy of Costa Rica with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. In October 2021, she took over as the Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul General of the Embassy of Costa Rica in New Delhi, India.
