Producer Bandla Ganesh got a good hit with Jr. NTR’s life changing and career defining movie, Temper. The story even though has some inspirations from the old movies, doesn’t really deviate from the original point and character of Jr. NTR has become a major talking point for the movie to become a success. Puri Jagannadh gave a memorable hit with the movie too. Vakkantham Vamsi gave the story and Puri Jagannadh wrote dialogues and additional screenplay.
The writer, Vakkantham Vamsi moved to court for a check fraud/bounce case on producer Bandla Ganesh. In the case, Bandla Ganesh is found guilty and has been published with 16 lakhs as fine to the writer and 6 months jail term for wantedly causing monetary discomfort to a creative person. Bandla Ganesh, got bail from the court to appeal for higher courts regarding the matter. He unloaded all his ammo on Vamsi with tweets.
He said, “I am a respectable producer of many films and Temper is a film, that is dear to my heart. I will doon announce big films but I am deeply hurt by Vakkantham Vamsi’s behaviour. I bought the story from him for one crore 4 lakhs and paid initial amounts on time. Later, we both sold to agreed shares the story and screenplay remake rights to Rohit Shetty. In the meantime, without my knowledge Vamsi decided to sell the Novel rights of the story and that hurt me. I put up a complaint on him in the chamber and stopped the residual and renaining check of 9 lakhs. I did it to let him realise and give an explanation on his actions. Instead, he went to court and I did not take it too seriously. Now, I got the bail from court and will challenge the decision of court in higher courts. I have paid crores to heroes and technicians, can’t I pay 9 lakhs? You have to understand that he crossed a limit and we all know who is behind the succes story of Temper with his dialogues and additional screenplay. I will fight this matter out.” We has gained some support on social media but few are commenting that these two should solve their differences amicably than giving into egos.
