Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s action thriller, Pathaan under the direction of Siddharth Anand had a theatrical release on January 25th. Along with Hindi, the film had a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil versions.
Opened to largely positive reports, the film witnessed massive reception across the globe. We had already reported that the Telugu version of Pathaan theatrical rights are sold for Rs 3.96 crore and the film should collect Rs 4.25 crore share to be a safe bet for the buyers here. Cashing in on the craze, the film has collected Rs 2.67 crore share from twin Telugu states on its first day. Meanwhile, the latest news is that Pathaan maintained the same momentum on its second day as well at the Telugu box office and collected Rs 4 crore share in two days. Below is the area-wise break-up.

The Telugu version of Pathaan has almost reached break-even status and entered profits zone from its third day. As the weekend has started, Pathaan is expected to perform beyond expectations in the next two days at the Telugu box office. Globally, Pathaan is eyeing at Rs 500 crore gross by the end of its extended first weekend.
