It is widely known that reputed choreographer turned Raghava Lawrence is working on an action thriller, titled, Rudhrudu. Being directed by Kathiresan, the makers have already announced that the film will have a simultaneous theatrical release in Tamil and Telugu on April 14, 2023.
Earlier, the makers planned to release the film in the month of December but postponed the release due to delays in the post-production and computer graphics work. In the new release date poster released by the team a few weeks back Lawrence was seen in a rustic makeover with an injury on his head.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear from our sources is that the Telugu version rights of Rudrudu are acquired by noted Vizag-based film distribution network Purvi Pictures. Reportedly, the rights are brought for Rs 6 crore. The deal is said to be a non-recoverable one.
Bankrolled by Five Star Creations LLP, director Kathiresan is presenting the film. ‘EVIL IS NOT BORN, IT IS CREATED’ is the tagline of the film. Priya Bhavani Shankar is the film’s female lead. Rudhrudu will have a Tamil release with the same title.
