This Telugu girl is going great guns. Former beauty queen, Miss Earth 2013 Sobhita Dhulipala, who stepped into tinseltown with Bollywood movie Raman Raghav 2.0 has garnered praises from all the corners. film managed to appease the critics and entertain the audience as well. And praising her acting chops is none other than ace director Anurag Kashyap, known for making quality, off-beat films. Anurag admitted that he was very happy with Sobhita’s auditions as she was almost perfect.
“She wasn’t like any of the models or Miss India winners I have ever met. It was a big surprise to see a Miss India who did not care about how she looked but did care whether she was getting the character and emotions right,” the director said. He also told a leading daily, “In the days we shot the film, she drowned herself in character so much that she became Simmy (Sobhita’s character in the movie). She saw every single cut of ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ as many times as it was screened, even more than me. That is how nuts she is,” he added. Whoa, after these words of praise from the master director himself, Sobhita is bound to be inundated with offers.
