There’s one director-actor combo that every individual audience member always loves. These director-actor combos have, in the past, redefined cinema and set a new trend. While many combos like that exist, and while not all combos keep coming back to life often, Tollywood is now going through a nostalgic phase where several blockbuster combinations are working together or are about to work together in the near future.
Sukumar and Allu Arjun scored a blockbuster and the first hit of their careers in the form of Arya. Neither of them looked back after that, and while Arya 2 may not have been equally successful, it remains to be appreciated by fans. This fan loved combination is now working on Pushpa, which is benign made on a pan-Indian scale, and the teaser raised the expectations to the next level, if not anything else. Pushpa is slated to release this year.
The other fan loved combination that is in the works is Rajamouli with NTR and Ram Charan. Rajamouli scored two blockbusters with NTR in the form of Student No.1 and Simhadri, both of which were resounding successes. Rajamouli and Ram Charan’s Magadheera was an industry hit and was a trendsetter in the visual effects department. Naturally, with the three of them coming together, the expectations on RRR are at an all-time high.
The other blockbuster combo that’s loading is the out and out massy combination of Boyapati and Balakrishna. This combination is about to entertain the audiences with Akhanda, the teaser of which already set new records on YouTube. These both have previously delivered massive successes in the form of Simha and Legend, and fans are highly excited to see this combination come to life again. Apart from these three combinations, the wonderful combination of Trivikram and Mahesh is all set to entertain audiences, and fans are understandably in a state of euphoria to see these two create magic once again. Considering these many wonderful combinations coming back to life, it most certainly is like taking a stroll down memory lane for Telugu audiences.
