Diljit Dosanjh has received a notice from the Telangana government before his concert in Hyderabad on Friday, November 15th. The notice asks the Punjabi singer not to perform songs that promote alcohol, drugs, or violence.
It also advises against involving children in the show and warns that loud sounds and flashing lights could be harmful to them. The Hyderabad concert is part of his Dil-Luminati Tour, which is visiting 10 cities across India.
The notice was issued by the District Welfare Officer of Rangareddy after a complaint from a Chandigarh resident.
The complaint supported by video evidence claimed that singer performed songs promoting alcohol, drugs and violence during a concert in New Delhi last month.
His tour will visit 10 cities beginning with a massive concert in Delhi. During his Jaipur concert, Diljit apologized for a fake ticket scam saying that authorities were investigating and advised people to avoid those involved in the scam. The final show will be in Guwahati on December 29th.
