Natural Star Nani’s upcoming film, Dasara is slated for a pan-India release on March 30th. The film will have a simultaneous release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The makers have already released two songs from the audio album and a teaser. All the promotional stuff of the film has been receiving positive feedback from the audience.
A few days back on the eve of Nani’s 39th birthday on February 24th, the team even planned birthday celebrations in thirty-nine theatres across twin Telugu states. Now, the latest we hear is that the team will be flying to Chennai soon to release third single from the audio album at a grand event. Details regarding the same are likely to be out shortly.
We already reported that Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical rights of Nani’s Dasara. Earlier, the rights are originally with the Chadalavada brothers. As per the inside reports, the Chadalavada brothers acquired Dasara theatrical rights for Rs 24 crore but after witnessing the response for the first look teaser top producer cum distributor Dil Raju bagged the rights by offering Rs 28 crore.
On the other hand, the news is also coming in that Dil Raju who bought Dasara rights from Chadalavada by paying Rs 4 crore as an extra amount is selling area-wise rights of Dasara for whopping prices. Excluding Uttarandhra and Nizam, Dil Raju recovered seventy percent of his total investment from other areas, say sources.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, Dasara is set in the 80s time period in Telangana. Keerthy Suresh is the female lead. Co-starring Saikumar and Samuthirakani in key roles, the film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri. Kollywood musician Santhosh Narayanan is the music composer for this rustic drama..
