Taxiwaala movie got pirated prior to the release and it couldn’t really give confidence to makers as well, as they were vary about how the movie will end up shaping up. They were worried if the movie will have a good opening.
Despite the genre and two other releases, Taxiwaala earned Rs. 4.78 crores share for Rs. 10 crores gross on the first day. Even the second day for the movie went well.
Vijay Devarakonda and the entire team had put in a lot of effort to promote the film despite piracy and asked people to support. Vijay took promotions to the next level by being the driver of his few selected fans and even calling some who missed the opportunity.
Well, the producers are already happy about the movie being a success and Vijay is trying to process everything happened to be able to move on to his next and see that there is a success streak but not lapses like NOTA further, it seems.
