Taraka Ratna Was Considered for a Key Role in this Prabhas’ Film

After suffering a massive cardiac arrest, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna was hospitalized. He battled for life at Narayana Hridalaya hospital in Bengaluru for more than twenty-five days but unfortunately breathed his last on February 18th.

The final rites of Taraka Ratna were performed at Mahaprasthanam, Jubilee Hills yesterday evening. Noted director Anil Ravipudi who came to pay last respects to Taraka Ratna at Film Chamber where his mortal remains are kept said that Taraka Ratna was supposed to do a role in NBK108 but the actor’s demise is an unfortunate incident.

On the other hand, the news is that Taraka Ratna was even considered for a prominent role in Prabhas starrer Project K. The film’s project C Ashwini Dutt himself revealed that news to media when he went to offers last respects to the mortal remains of Taraka Ratna. It is widely known that Taraka Ratna made his silver screen debut with the 2002 film, Okato Number Kurraadu which was produced by Ashwini Dutt himself.

Coming back to Project K, the film also has Bollywood legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan in a key role. Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani are playing the female lead roles in this high budget sci-fi thriller which is gearing up for a pan-India release on January 12, 2024.
