Tapsee Pannu became a sensation as a model through ads and debuted in Telugu films with Jhummandi Naadam. After that she got many chances but none of the films gave her the required break to be known as a serious actor or a successful heroine. But in other languages films like in Tamil, Adukalam and Aarambham became big hits. Her hindi debut, Chashme Baddoor also was a success. After 2013, Sahasam she did not star in any Telugu Film and she had a sensational film like Pink this year. She is also a part of Baby franchise and currently participating in the shoot of the film, based on her character, Naam Shabana.
After Pink she is also playing characters in Ghazi, with Rana Daggubati. The movie has completed shooting and in February the movie will release in Hindi and Telugu. According to the close sources, she has signed a Horror Comedy Thriller in Telugu. This is her first film in the genre and she will be sharing the screen with Shakalaka Sankar, Srinivas Reddy, Jayaprakash Reddy and Vennela Kishore. The movie is said to be a good fun film with all the right elements. Mahi Raghav of Paatshala fame, will be directing the movie. Tapsee will be shuffling between Judwaa2 and this film next year.
