Tapsee Pannu, the actress who recently saw great success as the lead actress after a long struggle is finally getting her due. The actress always seemed to have an amazing comfort level working with any actor but failures have been her house address except for few films like Aadukalam and Mr. Perfect, starring Prabhas. She tried to fit into many lenses of Krishna Vamsi, Meher Ramesh, Raghavendra Rao and many directors but she could not find the break through success.
Finally, Shoojit Sircar changed her fate by casting her in his PINK. The movie became a big success and also prompted Baby makers to make a prequel of the movie with Tapsee as the lead, Naam Shabana. The movie released for a good reception and stood out to be a hit for Tapsee. Afterwards the actress has come back to Telugu with Anando Brahma, the recent release.
Well, for her Naam Shabana and PINK, the actress has been conferred the award of Most Powerful Woman of the year by Savvy Magazine. Thanking the magazine for such an honour Tapsee thanked them by saying, “It’s always nice and overwhelming when you’re recognized not only for your craft but for your choices as person and what you stand for. These awards make a special place in achievements because they help gain confidence and show you’re on right track.” Her latest Hindi film, Judwaa2 is getting ready for release this Dussehra.
