Tamanna Bhatia managed to capture the imagination of Telugu and Tamil youth with her angle like looks and competitive acting skills. She faced a career lull with her many big films registering lukewarm responses at the box office still Baahubali, Bengal Tiger and Oopiri changed that. Baahubali and Oopiri gave her name as an actress too.

She did an uncharacteristic de-glamorised role in her Tamil release, Dharmadurai along with Vijay Sethupathi. Now she is coming with a horror comedy majorly based on her character Devi coming from a village to the city as a house-wife to Prabhu deva’s character and under the influence of a ghost called Maya, becoming the glamorous actress. This comic premise made the film to be unique among the countless horror comedies being made.

The film is also a trilingual shot simultaneously in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. All the scenes were shot in three languages with different character actors and same leads, Prabhu Deva, Tamannah and Sonu Sood. Tamannah hopes that this movie will bring her a better recognition in Hindi after the debacles of her straight Hindi films, Himmatwala and Humshakals. She wants the film to work big in all three languages and exclaimed that this is her most important film due to her pairing with Prabhu Deva. She spoke to famous box office tracker, Shridhar Pillai about the same. The movie is releasing simultaneously in all three languages on October 7th for Dussehra. Here’s wishing her All the Best!
