Odela 2, the sequel to Odela Railway Station, stars Tamannaah Bhatia as Shivashakti and Vasishta Simha in a key role. The film is written by Sampath Nandi, directed by Ashok Teja, and produced by D. Madhu. It is set to release on April 17 in Telugu and Hindi.
The trailer was launched today at Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy theatre. The teaser already received a great response, helping the makers earn profits through early sales of theatrical and non-theatrical rights.
At the launch, Sampath Nandi praised Tamannaah for her dedication, saying no one else could have played Shivashakti better. Tamannaah said Odela 2 is a gripping commercial entertainer with a spiritual touch.
She appreciated the courage of the team in creating such a strong female-led story and thanked Vasishta Simha and Sampath for their support.
She also mentioned that working on the film felt like a divine experience and hoped the audience feels the same.
