Tamannaah Bhatia’s name is being discussed for The Dirty Picture 2 which is the sequel to the 2011 film starring Vidya Balan.
Producer Ektaa Kapoor has confirmed that the sequel is in development, 15 years after the original. However, the cast is yet to be finalized.
Tamannaah and Triptii Dimri are reportedly among the names being considered for the lead role but there is no official confirmation yet.
Speaking on a podcast, Ektaa said she has a story that she now wants to tell. The original film, directed by Milan Luthria, was inspired by actress Silk Smitha’s life.
Tamannaah has recently taken up several glamorous and bold roles making her a suitable choice for the sequel.
