The Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned Tamannaah Bhatia for several hours on Thursday as part of a money laundering investigation linked to the ‘HPZ Token’ mobile app.
They recorded her statement because she allegedly received payment for a “celebrity appearance” at an event hosted by the app company.
According to media reports, Tamannaah stated that she is innocent and that all her transactions were legal.
She explained that she attended the event for financial reasons, which is a common practice among celebrities. After the questioning, Tamannaah did not speak to the media.
