Kangana Ranaut’s Queen has been one of the most talked about films and it has yielded Kangana, a National Award too. There have been many plans by makers to remake the movie in South Languages but the project somehow got delayed further and further. Recently, we heard that Tamannah will be playing the role of Telugu Queen but then the actress did not finalise the deal has the remuneration did not suit her requirement.
Then, we heard that Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the role of Queen in Telugu and Tamil, but that has fallen apart too. Now, the role has gone back to Tamannah and the actress has agreed to do it. Neelakanta, the director of Show and Missamma, will be directing the movie and Manu Sharma will produce the movie. In a statement Manu Sharma, has confirmed this news.
According to that,. “We have zeroed in on Tamannah after long discussions. We are highly confident that the actress will be able to live up to the high expectations of the audience and also the remake will be off the standards of Hindi film.” The movie will start shooting as soon as December as per the latest reports. Amy Jackson is confirmed to play the second lead in the movie.
