Hero Vijay Deverakonda is going through a peculiar stage in his career. His first-ever pan-India project, Liger under the direction of Puri Jagannadh is progressing at a slow pace. Last March, the film’s shoot was stalled due to the Covid first wave lockdown and resumed earlier this year. But due to the second wave impact, the shoot was stalled once again in April.
As per the inside reports, the film’s shoot may resume only after the current Covid situation returns to normalcy. On the other hand, Vijay’s next with Sukumar is also kept on hold as the director has decided to split his ongoing project, Pushpa into two parts. Later, reports came out that Vijay is all set to join forces with Tuck Jagadish director Siva Nirnava for a project but nothing officially announced, to date.
Sources confirm that for the time being, Vijay is completely on a rest mood and waiting to resume the shooting for Liger whenever Puri Jagannadh is ready. Being bankrolled by Karan Johar and Charmee jointly, Liger has Bollywood beauty, Ananya Pandey, is the female lead role.
