Soon after the Tamil Nadu general elections, news came out that actor turned politician Kamal Haasan will be commencing the shooting for his new film, Vikram under the direction of young filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. But as an unexpected scenario, the makers of Indian 2 approached the Madras High Court and filed a complaint against director Shankar as he is not bothering about the massive budget project.
After hearing arguments for both camps, the Madras High Court has ordered the Indian 2 team members to settle the issue with a peaceful meeting. As of now, the discussions are going on between both camps and if everything falls in place, Kamal Haasan should keep Vikram on hold and resume the shooting for Indian 2 as the first priority.
Now, the entire Indian 2 issue has left Vikram director Lokesh Kanagaraj in a big dilemma as he has been waiting to kick-start the shoot for Vikram for the past six months. It remains to be seen if Lokesh Kanagaraj waits for Kamal Haasan’s call sheets or else go ahead with a new project.
