Talk: This Kollywood Star to Turn Director

Currently, Kollywood star Dhanush is busy with multiple projects in the pipeline. One among them is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual project titled, Sir/Vaati. Being directed by Tollywood director Venky Atluri, the film has Samyuktha Menon as the female lead and is gearing up for a February release. The film is bankrolled by the Sithara Entertainments banner in association with Trivikram’s Fortune Four Cinemas banner. GV Prakash Kumar is the musician.

This national award-winning actor also Arun Matheswaran’s project titled, Captain Miller at the shooting stage. Set in the 1930 time period, the film is being bankrolled by Sathya Jyothi Films banner. The film also has Telugu hero Sundeep Kishan in a key role. Co-starring Priyanka Mohan as the female lead, Captain Miller has its music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.

Later, Dhanush also has a multilingual project under the direction of Shekar Kammula in the pipeline. Recently reports also came out that Dhanush will be joining forces with Thunivu fame H Vinoth for a project in 2024.

Now, the latest we hear from our Kollywood sources is that Dhanush is soon going to direct a project. Reportedly, he will be directing a project that will feature himself, SJ Suryah, and Vishnu Vishal in key roles. Sun Pictures banner will be bankrolling the project, say reports. However, an official announcement is awaited.
