Talk: Shocking budget for Rakshasudu 2

An official announcement regarding the sequel to Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas’ 2019 film, Rakshasudu came out a couple of weeks ago. Noted director Ramesh Varma, who helmed the first part will be directing the second installment as well but the twist in the tale is that Bellamkonda will not be doing the lead role in the sequel.

Earlier, reports came out that the makers are planning to rope in a star actor for the lead role in Rakshasudu 2. Now, the latest news is that the film will be made a pan-India project with a whopping budget of Rs 100 crore. As per the inside reports, star actor Vijay Sethupathi is in talks for the lead role in the film.

Koneru Satyanarayan and his son cum actor Havish will be bankrolling the film which also marks as the Bollywood debut for the director Ramesh Varma.
