Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 155th project under the direction of Meher Ramesh was formally announced yesterday. Titled Bholaa Shankar, the film is an official remake of the Kollywood hit, Vedalam.
Meanwhile, the latest we hear from our sources is that Meher Ramesh is keen on roping in senior music composer Mani Sharma’s son Swara Sagar Mahathi as the music composer for the film. As of now, the decision is pending with Chiranjeevi and is yet to give a green signal to the young music composer. Earlier, Mahathi Swara Sagar worked as the music composer for successful films such as Chalo and Bheeshma and impressed the audience with his soundtracks. If Mahathi has been roped in as the music composer for Bholaa Shankar, it will be a golden chance for the music director to prove his talent and reach a wider section of the audience.
Bholaa Shankar also has star heroine Keerthy Suresh playing Chiru’s sister role. Being bankrolled by AK Entertainments in association with KS Rama Rao, the film is expected to go on the sets later this year.
