Karthikeya 2 starring Nikhil and Anupama Parameswaran as the lead pair is supposed to hit the screens on July 22nd but due to delay in the post-production and VFX works, the release is postponed. Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, earlier reports came out the makers are planning to release the film on August 5th.
But later news came out that top producer Dil Raju who acquired the distribution rights for Kalyan Ram’s Bimbisara which is scheduled for the same date release has asked the makers of Karthikeya 2 to look for other alternative release dates. As per the inside reports, as the upcoming films booked the release dates in August, the makers of Karthikeya 2 are left in dilemma on the release date.
Bankrolled by Abhishek Agarwal and TG Vishwaprasad, Karthikeya 2 is a sequel to the 2015 film, Karthikeya. The film has its music composed by Kaala Bhairava.
