Talk: Gopichand’s Seetimaarr is ready for an OTT release, but…

Action hero Gopichand and Tamannaah’s intense sports drama, Seetimaarr was supposed to release on April 2nd but is postponed due to a delay in the film’s VFX works. Confirming the film’s postponement, the makers even informed that the new release date of the film will be announced later.

Now, the latest news coming in from the film circles is that considering the ongoing Covid hard times, Seetimaarr team is planning to opt for a direct OTT release if they get a fancy deal from any of the leading digital platforms. Will any content provider show interest to bag the rights of a mass film like Seetimaarr by offering a fancy price? Remains to be seen.

This sports drama is based on Kabaddi and has Gopichand and Tamannaah as Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Kabaddi coaches respectively. Sampath Nandi is the director and Srinivasa Chitturi bankrolled Seetimaarr. Mani Sharma is the music composer.
