Talk: Dhee 2 Completely Shelved

A while ago, it was announced that the sequel for director Srinu Vaitla’s superhit film, Dhee, was in the making, and that the shoot of the film would very soon begin. Srinu Vaitla was back in the game, and even said that this would be his much awaited comeback to form. However, there hasn’t been much news regarding the film since then.

Vishnu Manchu, for some reason, decided to focus on Ginna instead of Dhee 2, and Srinu Vaitla is said to have been hurt by this, and is thus said to have decided to move on from the project and focus on another script instead. Thus, Dhee 2 is said to be officially shelved, and there’s no guarantee if the movie will ever take place.

On the other hand, Vishnu Manchu said that he has bought the rights to seven remakes, and it is expected that he will be focusing on them, once his current film, Ginna, releases on October 21st.
