During the Sankranthi festival season, we witnessed the clash of titans at the box office. While Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer Veera Simha Reddy was released on January 12th, Megastar Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja’s Waltair Veerayya was out on January 13th.
Bankrolled by the Mythri Movie Makers banner, both the films already achieved the break-even target within one week and entered into the profits zone. Star hero films having clashes at the box office is not a new thing in Tollywood. Earlier also many star hero films locked horns at the ticket windows during the Sankranthi season.
Meanwhile, the latest reports coming in from our sources is that the 2024 Sankranthi season is going to witness a box office clash between cousins. Reportedly, Ram Charan’s RC15 under the direction of Shankar and Allu Arjun- Sukumar’s Pushpa-2 might lock horns during the festival season. While Dil Raju is bankrolling RC15, Mythri Movie Makers banner is producing Pushpa-2.
If the above news turns into reality, who among the Mega heroes emerges as a winner in the race? Remains to be seen.
