For the past few weeks, news has been circulating among film circles is that Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Seenu’s high voltage actioner, Akhanda will release during the Dussehra festival season. But the latest we hear is that Akhanda is likely to step out of the festive season and there is no clarity on the ticket pricing issue from the AP government led by YS Jagan.
As per the inside reports, though the film unit has decided to kick-start aggressive promotions from September 10th by unveiling the first single from the audio album, they have postponed the promotions as there is no clarity on the ticket prices from the Andhra Pradesh government. This decision comes as a major disappointment for Nandamuri fans, who are waiting for the film’s release eagerly.
Akhanda has wrapped up entire shooting formalities except for two songs and Balayya will be seen in a dual role. Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna are playing the female lead roles. Miryala Ravinder Reddy is bankrolling Akhanda and has its music composed by Thaman.
