Bollywood’s super hit Andhadhun remake is creating a lot of troubles for the filmmakers. It is known that Nithiin is going to reprise Ayyushman Khurrana for this remake. Merlapaka Gandhi of Venkatadri Express and Express Raja fame is going to direct the movie. It got launched a few days prior to lockdown. Shooting is expected to start from the second half of 2020. But taking the current situation into consideration it might take next year for the makers to start shooting.
Nithiin has to complete the shooting of two films before starting the Andhadhun remake. However, casting is creating troubles for the Andhadhun remake team. Especially selecting a suitable artist for Tabu’s role is giving headaches. Tabu’s character is crucial for the film and she had performed exceptionally well in the original.
When Nithiin’s team contacted Tabu for the remake she politely rejected it. After her, makers have considered Shilpa Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, and others for the role but nobody has given their nod for various reasons. We have to see who will be selected for this role.
