Tabu to get lifetime achievement award in LA

In Los Angeles, Tabu’s last year dark thriller, Andhadhun is going to open the International Film Festival. The festival committee decided to honour Indian actress with special Life Time Achievement.

She acted in Namesake with Irrfan Khan in the direction of Mira Nair earlier and for her work, she won over the audiences in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and even Internationally for different films.

With Maachis, directed by Gulzar she started doing alternative cinema from mainstream and that earned her this maximum recognition.

The festival committee said that they were looking to give Tabu thus award from long time and now, they could. Soon, IFFLA will stream the award event live on social media.
