Taapsee Pannu is one actress who has managed to balance the North and South film industries in a way that no actress before her has been able to. She carved a niche for herself in Bollywood, establishing herself as one of the most powerful performers in the industry. Earlier this year, Taapsee also launched her own production, titled Outsiders Films.
Her maiden production, Blurr, and psychological drama thriller, starring herself and Gulshan Devaiah in the lead roles, directed by Ajay Bahl, recently wrapped up and will be released soon. It is now being said that Samantha has been approached by Taapsee’s production house to play the female lead in their upcoming project, which is a female-centric thriller. Earlier this year, Samantha made her OTT debut with The Family Man 2, and if this to be true, then this will make her Bollywood movie debut.
On the other hand, it is being said that Samantha has replaced Nayantara as the leading lady in Shah Rukh Khan’s film with Atlee. There hasn’t been any confirmation about the same, but it would be huge if it turns out to be true. Samantha will next be seen in the Tamil film Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal, starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead roles. She will also be seen as Shakuntala in Gunasekhar’s directorial venture Shaakuntalam.
