Taapsee Pannu Questions Growing PR Games In Bollywood

Taapsee Pannu spoke openly about the growing PR culture in the film industry. She strongly criticised paid publicity and fake praise, saying many celebrities are wasting money just to look successful or pull others down.

Taapsee said the PR game has reached an extreme level, where success is sometimes shown by targeting others instead of focusing on one’s own work.

She explained that earlier PR was mainly about promoting yourself, but now it is also used to damage others. Taapsee questioned why someone’s success should depend on another person’s failure.

She also pointed out that many actors create a fake public image just to stay relevant even when it does not match the kind of work they are doing.

The beauty added that she prefers spending her money on herself, her family and travelling rather than paying for planted articles or social media praise.

She said she does not believe in paying people to write big things about her and feels honesty and good work matter more than fake publicity.
