Tapsee Pannu, who struggled hard to achieve success in Southern languages found great success in Hindi. Her movies Baby and Pink with actors like Akshay Kumar and Amitabh Bachchan changed her perspective towards acting and she feels rejuvenated after, Naam Shabana, an first of its kind Analogy film in India, turned out to be a decent grosser. Her character in Baby was accepted well enough and the back story made the character more relatable too. Tapsee echoed same emotions and flew off to Bangkok to spend some quality time with her sister, Shagun Pannu celebrating her film’s success and her sister’s birthday.
Tapsee exclaimed her disappointment over PINK being snubbed at National Film Awards. She echoed many critics opinion that the movie should have been receiving far more Awards for the important theme it put forward and the performances too. Well, she said she is more relived and relaxed about her next movie, Judwa2 in the direction of David Dhawan starring Varun Dhawan in a double role for the first time. The movie is a sequel to Salman Khan’s Judwa directed by Dhawan which is a remake of Telugu movie, Hello Brother directed by EVV Satyanarayana starring Akkineni Nagarjuna.
Tapsee shared that she feels more relaxed and absolutely no stress about the movie. She never thought she could be so confident about a film all these years and this even surprised her. The young actress riding on success of her previous movies is confident that people even though come with lot of expectations will be satisfied as the movie is giving her a positive vibe even before she started shooting for it. She revealed that she likes to continue feeling so confident before every movie and enjoy the process more than she ever did.
