In the upcoming television series “Taali,” Sushmita will play “Shreegauri Sawant,” one of the most audacious characters.
The teaser offered a sneak preview of the transgender activist’s valiant quest, tribulations, and success.
Imagine having to beg to be accepted as a gender, the two Sushmita and Shreegauri stated when discussing their shared bond. The story of Shreegauri Sawant will show how many challenges people like her must overcome.
She is a tremendous inspiration as a person who not only overcame cultural obstacles but also adopted the daughter of an AIDS patient who had passed away. Sushmita and Shreegauri Sawant bonded through the fact that they are both adoptive mothers, and this was what brought them together.

The script was written by Kshitij Patwardhan and was directed by filmmaker Ravi Jadhav.

Along with Shaan Kakkar, it also has crucial performances by Ankur Bhatia, Aishwarya Narkar, Hemangi Kavi, Suvrat Joshi, Krutika Deo, Nitish Rathore, and Meenakshi Chugh.
Recently, the con-man thriller “Rafuchakkar,” starring Maniesh Paul, was launched.
