Yes, National Award winning actress Shweta Basu Prasad is making her comeback in Tollywood. After being dragged into controversial prostitution case in 2014, this Kotha Bangaru Lokam girl is happy once again with her return to small and large screen simultaneously.
The actress found her fame with TV soap series like Kutumb, Karishma Kaa Karishma and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. Also won a National Award for Best Child Actress for her role in Makdee. She has been abstaining herself from doing acting post the controversy and was busy studying and working as a script-consultant in Phantom Films. After six long years, the actress is finally making her return to small screen industry with Chandra – Nandini on Star Plus.
Meanwhile, Shweta Basu is also making her Silver screen comeback with ‘Mixture Potlam’. This is a journey of couple of characters, who are on their way to Shirdi from Amalapuram and how an unexpected incident changes the course of every character is told in an engaging and funny way. This road movie is directed by Satish Kumar MV and produced by Lakshmi Prasad, Srinivas Rao, Veeranna Chowdary. The movie completed shooting formalities in 40 days and scheduled to hit screens in December 2nd week.
