Nikhil’s upcoming Pan-India film Swayambhu has completed its shooting and is now in the post-production stage.
The makers first planned to release the film on February 13 for Maha Shivaratri, but the release has now been pushed to April 10th aiming for a summer release.
The film is directed by Bharat Krishnamachari and produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under Pixel Studios with Tagore Madhu presenting it.
Swayambhu involves heavy CGI work, and the team has handed over post-production to top VFX studios in the country. Instead of rushing the release and compromising on visuals and the makers decided to take more time to deliver better quality.
Summer is seen as a better season for a big Pan-India film. An official announcement will be made soon. Nikhil plays a powerful warrior with Samyuktha and Nabha Natesh as the female leads.
