Swara Bhasker Flaunts her Green Lehenga and Looks Like a Queen

Swara Bhasker’s latest Instagram post included photos of her green outfit from her sangeet ceremony. The actress looked stunning in a green lehenga, matching her husband, Fahad Ahmad, dressed in a green costume. The couple married in court and announced on January 6 that they had filed their papers under the Special Marriage Act. They recently celebrated various pre-wedding functions with their family and friends, including haldi, mehendi, and sangeet. The actor has been posting photos and videos of their wedding festivities on Instagram and Twitter.

Taking to her Instagram to share the latest pictures, Swara looked closer at her heavily embroidered green lehenga for her sangeet ceremony. She can also be seen twinning with Fahad in a green kurta pyjama in some photographs. She also wrote in the caption: “Like a Queen in green courtesy my fave @rahulmishra_7 … Giving @fahadzirarahmad also princely vibes! (green heart emoticons).” In a separate post, Swara posted another set of pictures from the Sangeet ceremony, where she was seen sitting with Fahad and enthusiastically reacting to the performances ahead. Swara and Fahad’s wedding reception was held in Delhi and attended by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Shashi Tharoor, TMC leader Derek O’Brien and actor Jaya Bachchan. Swara wore a pink, golden lehenga for the occasion, and Fahad was chosen for a cream-coloured sherwani and white pyjama.
