Director Nag Ashwin said that work on the sequel to “Kalki 2898 AD” was in progress and producer Ashwini Dutt suggested it would come out around August or September 2025.
Now producer Swapna Dutt has announced that shooting will start in January or February 2025 but the release is not expected until 2028.
This news has shocked fans who are concerned about waiting four more years to see the sequel on the big screen.
The film starring Prabhas will also have a great cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani.
Vyjayanthi Movies is producing it with a big budget and Santhosh Narayanan will provide the music.
