Sussanne Khan’s Sister Farah Khan Ali Opens Up on her Divorce Says She is Happy

The divorce between DJ Aqeel and Farah Khan Ali is now final. In 2021, the pair had made their split public.

Farah Khan Ali, a jewellery designer and sister of Sussanne Khan, the ex-wife of actor Hrithik Roshan, has confirmed the couple’s divorce. Farah shared joyful photos of herself and Aqeel on her Instagram account to share the news.

In both photos, the couple was grinning, and Farah captioned one of them, “We have been formally declared divorced and are delighted about it. We wish each other tonnes of love, happiness and luck in our continuing endeavours. Nothing will change; we will always be parents to our lovely kids, Azaan and Fizaa. thankful for the trip we took together.

Red heart emoticons were used by Bollywood stars like Twinkle Khanna, Dia Mirza, and Bhavana Pandey among others in the comment area. Only reposting Farah’s post, Aqeel left out his comments.

The couple announced their separation earlier in 2021 and said there was no third party involved. Farah had said, “Sometimes two people grow apart. Sometimes they outgrow each other. It has been 9 years since my relationship with my husband Aqeel changed its status as a couple to just friends and to term it simply would be to state that we are “Happily Separated”. She continued, “We will always be best friends to each other and parents to our wonderful children Azaan and Fizaa who love us both equally yet accept that we cannot be a couple any longer. This was a mutual decision we took together involving two adults and there wasn’t any third person involved.”

On February 20, 1999, Farah and Aqeel got married. They have two children together, Azaan and Fizaa.
