In the new online series “Taali,” actress Sushmita Sen will play a transgender activist.
A kid actor on the set got along well with actress Sushmita Sen, who will be seen playing a transgender activist in the upcoming web series “Taali,” and even helped to calm the young girl down during a particularly trying sequence.
Aroha’s mother, Shivlae Dusad, revealed how Sushmita treated her daughter like a princess and let her indulge in some vanity van salon time once the day’s shoot was finished.
Even after Aroha is back in school, she continues to ask her mother questions about Sushmita because the two got along so well.
Shivale recalled one day’s extremely challenging shoot in which Sushmita managed to keep Aroha under control.
“She made her understand that it was all an act,” Shivale remarked, “and that she was there to protect her, holding her hand so she needn’t worry at all. Aroha felt safe holding her dupatta from the back as she was in the situation.
When the day’s shooting was over, Aroha once again entered Sushmita’s vanity van to say farewell while her parents waited for her outside.
They then questioned Sushmita’s crew how far Aroha was when she still didn’t emerge.
“Aroha eagerly exited to the door to inform us that Sushmita’s vanity had a “salon in her van,” then she quickly went back inside. She was reluctant to emerge. When she was finished, she left with Sushmita. Sushmita permitted the young child to indulge in some vanity at the mobile salon.
Sushmita Sen will be seen in the upcoming television series “Taali,” which is a moving yet potent tale of bravery, as transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant.
It was created by Arjun Singgh Baran and Kartk D Nishandar, produced by Arjun Singgh Baran, Kartk D Nishandar (GSEAMS Production), and Afeefa Nadiadwala, and directed by national award-winning director Ravi Jadhav. On JioCinema, the series will make its debut on August 15.
