Aishwarya is also very beloved by Sushmita. The former Miss Universe contestant praised the actress in a previous interview.
I am proud of Aishwarya, Sushmita Sen stated in an interview with Cosmopolitan. She has made every Indian proud to be an Indian. When you are as stunning as Aishwarya Rai is, I believe there is unquestionably a very high price to pay. When your entire projection has been one of perfection, there is a significant price to pay.
“So even if the poor girl does something, as sneeze in public, it’s news, and it’s bad news… So I really wish that media would give Aishwarya Rai a break because I think a girl goes through a lot of pressure all the time from everybody; from the Madame Tussauds, to the world press, to English movies etc. It just like that the world is expected out of Aishwarya Rai. She is just a girl, she will take her time and I am sure she will come out of it,” Sushmita added.
Martin Henderson, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s co-star in Bride and Prejudice, as well as the Arya actress both admitted, “I have a warm spot for her. Even if she is really lovely, it’s not because of her beauty. The unobserved side is my favourite. Ash is a kind girl in real life. She is so glamorous; it makes me think of an old-fashioned movie actress. I believe I was fortunate to get to know a side of Aish that many people never get to see. I mean, the perception of Ash as the famous movie actress that she is in India is one thing, and I think it was alluring, but I was fortunate to get to know her You get to understand the other side of her, which is a genuinely loving, sweet, and sensitive person. She laughs a lot.
