On Monday, Sushmita Sen celebrated her younger daughter Alisah’s birthday by showering her with affection.
Alisah, her younger daughter, had her birthday on Monday, and actress Sushmita Sen showered her with love, telling her how special God has made her and how she “couldn’t be prouder.”
Sushmita posted a video montage of old pictures of Alisah with the family on the photo-sharing website Instagram.
There are snippets of her childhood pictures, as well as photos from school with her older sister Renee, travel photos with her mother Sushmita, glimpses of her paternal grandparents, pictures from her prior birthday celebrations, and other naturally occurring shots.
Happy birthday to the love of my life, the former Miss Universe wrote in the caption. How unique God formed you…and having the honour of being your mother…I am so happy for you, Alisah! I cherish you, Shona! #apowerfuldestinyawaits.”

The mother of two adopted daughters is Sushmita Sen. Her second daughter, Alisah, joined the family in 2010, while her first daughter, Renee, had been adopted by her in 2000.

It details her courageous transition from Ganesh to Gauri and the prejudice she faced as a result, her fearless journey towards motherhood, and the audacious fight that resulted in the inclusion and identification of the third gender on all official documents in India.
