In a recent interview Surya Sethupathi son of actor Vijay Sethupathi spoke about the valuable advice his father gave him and shared a special memory from the sets of Maharaja.
Surya recently made his acting debut with the Phoenix and opened up during the film’s promotions.
Surya shared that his father told him two important things. First, being a star kid, he should be ready to face negative comments and criticism.
Second, he should always be responsible for his work. Acting, like many jobs, involves teamwork, so he must give his 100% and trust the process.
He also recalled visiting the set of Maharaja, Vijay’s 50th film which he believes one of his father’s most unique roles.
Surya said they often discuss films at home sharing different views. He added that their conversations are not about right or wrong but about understanding each other’s thoughts and perspectives.
