Suriya is nearing his 50th film and wants to make it a special project. According to few reports Suriya 50 will be directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and could be the much-awaited standalone Rolex film.
The project was delayed earlier but an official announcement is expected soon. The producer is yet to be finalized with Kalaipuli S Thanu reportedly interested in backing it.
Rolex was introduced through a cameo in Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and received a huge response. Lokesh has already confirmed plans to make a full length film on the character.
The project could be Lokesh’s next after his film with Allu Arjun. Suriya will meanwhile complete his 48th and 49th films with TJ Gnanavel and H Vinoth.
