Kollywood talented actor, Suriya, known for his distinctive script choices and versatile roles, had faced a lackluster phase at the box office in recent years. Despite critically acclaimed films like “Soorarai Potru” and “Jai Bhim,” which premiered on OTT platforms, his theatrical releases like “ET” turned into box office disappointments.
However, the tide seems to have turned as Suriya makes a strong comeback with a promising lineup. His career saw a prolonged absence from the box office, but his recent ventures have reignited his stardom. Suriya’s resurgence is evident through his bold collaborations, rejuvenating his career trajectory.
Presently, he’s engrossed in “Kanguva,” a high-budget project. Up next, he teams up with Sudha Kongara, the director of “Soorarai Potru,” and is also set to collaborate with acclaimed director Vetri Maaran. Notably, a standalone film centered around his much-hyped Rolex character from “Vikram” is in the works, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Reports also suggest an upcoming collaboration with Telugu talented young director Chandoo Mondeti. Suriya’s impressive lineup comprises unconventional partnerships, rekindling excitement among fans and industry enthusiasts alike.
